The Vine Staff
Travis grew up in the mountains of Montana while his wife, Jennica, was born and raised in the great Hoosier state. Both have been serving in ministry since their youth, and spent most of their first decade of marriage helping with church plants. It was through helping other pastors with church planting that they discerned their calling to plant a church in Goshen. Travis & Jennica enjoy life with two children: a son, Ezekiel and daughter, Elliet. Travis is a natural-born entrepreneur and often dreams up business ideas he’ll never use, just for the fun of it. In his free time, he prefers any activity that gets him outside and into the woods.
Pastor of Groups & Outreach
Bill was born in the state-next-door, in Elmhurst, Illinois. He has been married to his beautiful wife, Barbara for 29 years and has 4 grown children and 10 adorable grandchildren. Bill has been in the military for the last 20+ years, which enabled him and his family to live in some amazing places and be involved church leadership and a couple of church plants. Bill and Barbara lived in Montana for 20 years until God called them to move to Indiana to help with the Vine. Bill oversees our Small Groups, Outreach ministries and our vibrant pre-service Prayer Meeting. Bill and Barbara love to spend time in the presence of God, beautifully exhibit the gift of hospitality and genuinely love people. Bill misses days of solitary hunting and hiking in the mountains of Montana, but is enjoying the great increase of population in Indiana.
Director of Newcomers
Amanda grew up literally in the middle of a cornfield in Noble County and made it as far from home as Syracuse. Amanda is our Director of Newcomers and works to create a space that feels safe and comfortable to our newcomers, and is a member of our Preaching Team. Amanda is a tireless extrovert and often neglects laundry and dishes to spend time with people. Amanda is married to Justin, one of our worship leaders. Together they enjoy traveling, good meals at home with new and old friends, and bickering over whose turn it is to pick the movie.
Ashley Siri is a native Hoosier who married her high school sweetheart, Mike. Ashley handles our office administration, all of our events, our interior-design, and is the one with the pipes most Sunday morning worship services. Ashley leads women’s Bible studies and is passionate about digging into the life of Jesus in the Gospels. When Ashley has free time, she enjoys spending it with friends, frequently over tacos. Ashley has a funny habit of talking in a redneck accent, appreciates a well-timed joke, and has yet to kick a pretty strong Electric Brew habit.
Director of Facility & Ministry Services
Tom grew up working on the family farm, in Middlebury, Indiana. After high school, he went to culinary school and then attended a ministry and leadership school in Indianapolis, which led to ministry experiences in multiple Midwest cities. Tom is our Director of Facility and Ministry Services; he keeps our building ship-shape and leads our Prayer Ministry Team and oversees our Security, Cleaning and Maintenance Teams. Tom is an outdoors-man and loves deer hunting, and is seldom seen without his Stanley thermos of coffee. He and his wife, Hannah, have two young sons Jacob and Isaiah, 2 dogs and don’t get nearly enough sleep.
Director of Children's Ministry
Danielle was born in Illinois, but moved to Indiana to study Psychology at Trine University, in Angola. She became familiar with the Michiana area through a summer job at Camp Shipshewana, then settled in Goshen after graduation. Before becoming our Children’s Director, Danielle spent five years working with kids, teens and families in a community mental health setting. She is passionate for our kids to love Jesus, to learn how to pray and hear God’s voice, and to know they belong in this family. Danielle often says that she is a kid at heart, and this comes out in her passion and curiosity for life. She spent a year tracking daily moments of “delightitude,” in pictures on her social media feed, to let the pursuit of delight and gratitude become second nature. She can be found at the Chief at least once a week in the summer months, and if Peanut Butter Oreo is on the menu, you can guarantee that’s what she’s ordering.
