Vine Student Ministries

Vine Student Ministries exists to equip and empower the next generation.
To love God fiercely, serve others sacrificially, and reach their communities for Jesus.

The Youth Group (Grades 6th-12th) meets on Wednesdays, from 6:30-8:30pm, at the Vine.

Students engage in interactive activities and games, eat snacks, and participate in large group teaching based on Orange curriculum. Afterward, they break into age-appropriate small groups to dive further into Scripture and build relationships with each other and with their leaders.

Danielle DeYoung

Danielle DeYoung

Director of Next Generation Ministries

Danielle was born in Illinois, but moved to Indiana to study Psychology at Trine University, in Angola. She became familiar with the Michiana area through a summer job at Camp Shipshewana, then settled in Goshen after graduation. Before becoming our Children’s Director, Danielle spent five years working with kids, teens and families in a community mental health setting. She is passionate for our kids to love Jesus, to learn how to pray and hear God’s voice, and to know they belong in this family. Danielle often says that she is a kid at heart, and this comes out in her passion and curiosity for life. She spent a year tracking daily moments of “delightitude,” in pictures on her social media feed, to let the pursuit of delight and gratitude become second nature. She can be found at the Chief at least once a week in the summer months, and if Peanut Butter Oreo is on the menu, you can guarantee that’s what she’s ordering.
