Vine Next Gen Ministries

Vine Next Gen Ministries exists to equip and empower the next generation.
To love God fiercely, serve others sacrificially, and reach their communities for Jesus.

Summer Schedule: 6/16-7/21

The Youth Group (Grades 6th-12th) meets on Wednesdays, from 7:00pm-8:30pm, at Pringle Park.

We want to provide opportunities for our students to stay connected with other students, leaders, and Jesus. We will generally be meeting at Pringle Park. It will be laidback and relational and a safe space for students to invite their friends. We’ll have an ice breaker question and opportunity for prayer each week, as well as a short devotional every other week.

Rainy Day Contingency Plan: If there’s bad weather, the backup plan is to meet at The Vine in the Gathering Place. We will make a call by 5:30pm on each Wednesday, so please check your email and/or our Vine Youth Facebook group for updates.

A note to parents: Unlike the school semesters, where students were able to be dropped off earlier than the start time and picked up later than the end time, we are asking that you drop off/pick up your student(s) as close to start and end times as possible. Thank you for your flexibility with the new summer schedule!

Danielle DeYoung

Director of Next Generation Ministries

Danielle was born in Illinois, but moved to Indiana to study Psychology at Trine University, in Angola. She became familiar with the Michiana area through a summer job at Camp Shipshewana, then settled in Goshen after graduation. Before becoming our Children’s Director, Danielle spent five years working with kids, teens and families in a community mental health setting. She is passionate for our kids to love Jesus, to learn how to pray and hear God’s voice, and to know they belong in this family. Danielle often says that she is a kid at heart, and this comes out in her passion and curiosity for life. She spent a year tracking daily moments of “delightitude,” in pictures on her social media feed, to let the pursuit of delight and gratitude become second nature. She can be found at the Chief at least once a week in the summer months, and if Peanut Butter Oreo is on the menu, you can guarantee that’s what she’s ordering.
